First and foremost the staff were all so wonderfully kind and friendly and welcoming and they engaged me and everyone in conversation and they spoke English like you wouldn’t believe and, stop, there’s free coffee every morning from 8-10am. When I went down for the free coffee, the staff invited me to sit down with the three of them in the common room. They asked me a bunch of questions. I forgot to ask any back. Heartwarming stuff. They even wrote me a surprise birthday card. I might have to frame it.

We enjoyed our stay here! The staff were incredibly sweet, welcoming, and attentive to any of our needs. The room at first seemed small but my friend and I felt very comfortable the whole time, and we each had a duvet. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing with many good local restaurants and a convenience store within 1 min walking distance. Our stay was a bit far from tourist places but transportation was very convenient. We were a 5 min walk from a local train station, and one stop away (15 min walk) from a major train and shinkansen station. The women’s bathroom was clean, spacious and had lots of amenities, and were able to use their washer and dryer for laundry with no problems. Overall we were happy with our stay!

We had a wonderful time staying at this Guesthouse. All the staff is kind, friendly and ready to help if you need to ask something. We stayed there for 2 weeks and had a wonderful time. They all speak English so there is no problem if you don't speak Japanese. The location is perfect, next to 2 stations, the bigger one, Shinagawa, and another one, smaller. You can go everywhere from there. In the nearby there are combini, supermarkets, restaurants, izakayas, sushi's and all the facilities. The guest house is clean and cozy, everyone is very friendly and helpful. We absolutely recommend this staying because is the best if you are going to Tokyo, for a long or a short holiday.

Would recommend 10/10. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The guesthouse is conveniently located at a 10min walk from Shinagawa station. The surroundings are calm at night and it’s a lovely area to explore if you want to avoid main tourist spots. We had a double room which was super comfortable. There’s space under the bed for luggage. The bathrooms were also clean considering that they were shared with other people. It looks like a bit of an older building but they’re putting a lot of love into it.

The staff are warm-hearted and kind to everyone. They will greet you when you come back from travel and if you are willing to do so, you may have a great time by starting a conversation with them. Special thanks to the staff that helped me to check in at 6. a.m. in the morning due to my flight being hugely delayed and I took the first train to check in after I stayed in the airport. Overall, it's a good accommodation especially for solo travellers, and the atmosphere of the surrounding area is great. You can feel a sense of the real life in Japan looks like.

Location was perfectly close to the Kita Shinagawa Station to travel by train and also within the historical Shinagawa Shopping Street. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming with easy communication for those curious about any language barriers. They are even really good at recommending good eating and drinking spots.

Great for its price. A few minutes walk to a station and a 15 mins walk to a major station. I got my own space, a little tight, but good for privacy. They have a microwave, fridge, water kettle. A small eating space (I didn't use this though). The bed is comfy. The staff are sooo friendly they always greet me! A convenience store is a few steps away, plus restaurants and a shopping street nearby.

The staff are just lovely, very helpful and attentive, they even sang happy birthday to me on my return to the guesthouse that day! I found the location to be perfect, a 10 minute walk to the huge Shinagawa station with many lines and the wonderful Yamanote line, or a 2 min walk to the smaller Kita-Shinagawa station, and both able to take you straight to Haneda airport, what more could you ask for? The street itself is full of traditional restaurants and shops with plenty of 'Kombini' right on the doorstep.

Very nice location! Staff were super friendly and helpful! I only stopped for one night to rest after my flight but the staff were still super friendly and helpful! Full of recommendations and well-wishes for the rest of my trip. It was a really lovely atmosphere!

The Guest House is located on a beautiful street of Shinagawa City in Tokyo. Around 10 minutes walk from Shinagawa train station. The area around makes a perfect place for either morning or evening walk, and a quick way to a train station which has the major commutes, including Narita Express, Tokaido Shinkansen, Yamanote Line is a more than ideal place to explore Tokyo by train. Making your way by foot might be somewhat exhausting as Shinagawa is kind of a long way from a major locations as Shibuya, Shinjuku or Asakusa. The Guesthouse itself is really modest, with a small common room at the ground floor, baths at the basement and rooms at 1st and 2nd floors. The atmosphere was lovely and welcoming, as you can chat with staff at the common room, try some regional sweets or eat your dish from the FamilyMart next-door. The room I had was a single one. It was quite small but cozy. Restrooms were located at each floor, and were really clean and taken care of. Additionaly, at one of the floors there is a women-only bath. I can really recommend this Guesthouse for short stays, as it provides you well with all the necessities you need to explore the city, including umbrellas which you can borrow at the rainy day.
